Build notes
The tube came in with a severely overdriven gain potentiometer on the pigtail. Factory pot was cranked to 178k ohms, which sent the tube into self-protection mode, dropping voltage to compensate and producing a incredibly dim image. I diagnosed the issue and mapped the pigtail's potentiometer traces, and then settled on a re-tune value of 107k ohms through darkroom testing (MK1 Eyeball and multimeter). Result: a bright, even image without compromising tube safety.

The pigtail came in with a stuck gain pot. Diagnosing and re-tuning it brought the image back.
